David Ford

David has performed with artists such as Isaac Hayes, Ray Charles, Earl Thomas Conley, Pee Wee King, Eric Todd and Greg Martin (of The Kentucky Headhunters).

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky David has playing since the age of twelve, David has developed the ability to create and perform numerous styles of music with great proficiency. David is a founding member of Impulse and in addition to playing lead guitar also does lead and background vocals. David is also is at the forefront of producing the band’s live sound.

David's current personal stage gear includes a Fender Telecaster, Vox AD120VT, Fender Stage 1000 Amp, and a 1970 Kustom 50 Amp.
 

Among David's favorite musicians and influences are Government Mule, The Beatles, Steve Earle, Allman Bros, Michael Allsup (Three Dog Night), Terry Kath (Chicago), Frank Zappa, Carlos Santana, Great Martin (Kentucky Headhunters), and BB King.
